Venom
Venom is a British heavy metal band formed in 1979 by guitarists Jeff "Mantas" Dunn and Conrad "Cronos" Lant, drummer Tony "Abaddon" Bray, vocalist Clive "Anti Christ" Archer and bassist Alan Winston in Newcastle, England. However, the training they received more recognition and fame was made up of Mantas, Abaddon and bassist / vocalist Cronos.
While it is true that all the time Venom shared many of the features and distinctive black metal as it is one of the forerunners of this genre, so is that since its first recording available (the single "In League with Satan" which includes two classics of the band: "In League with Satan" and " Like an Angel Live and Die Like a Devil "), was marked by brutality and force of sound metal directly splashed with the rawness of punk. 1982
"Black Metal" Black Metal
is the second studio album by the band and the origin of the musical genre "black metal".
It was released in November 1982 through Neat Records label in 2002 and reissued on CD containing nine bonus track.
The album is considered one of the most important within the extreme metal movement, especially in influencing the birth of thrash metal, death metal and black metal in the 1980s and 1990s.
